St. Lucia isn't always the easiest island to reach in the Caribbean but it is possible to find cheap tickets during most of the low season months. Traveling from most major US gateways, you can expect to find airline tickets. priced in the $500-$550 range if you are flexible! Also, remember that St. Lucia has TWO airports and it is a good idea to price air into both for comparison. The northern airport, and the one closest to this property, is Vigie - airport code of SLU. The southern airport is Hewanorra, airport code of UVF.

Barbados Celebrates Crop Over

The Caribbean is known for its wild party like atmosphere during Carnival Week. In addition to the traditional Carnival, there are many other national holidays that are celebrated in the same style... one being Crop Over Festival in Barbados. 

"The Crop Over summer festival is Barbados' most popular and colourful festival. Its origins can be traced back to the 1780's, a time when Barbados was the world's largest producer of sugar.
